Asian American Health Coalition of the Greater Houston
Area: Hope Health and Wellness Center
- Project Scope: To construct an approximately 80,000 square-foot Health and Wellness Center on 3.5 acres at the corner of Metro and Bellaire Blvd in Harris County. Project also includes the acquisition of land for 7-acres tract located behind HOPE Clinic site to build an expended surface detention pond large enough to store excess flow generated by the clinic site, post development, and accommodate as well as slow storm water runoff to mitigate flooding for the surrounding residential community and create a park-like seeing with trails. The new Health and Wellness Center will meet an ever-increasing demand for healthcare services in the area that has long been designated a healthcare desert.

Lauder Stormwater Detention Basin - Drainage
Improvements
- Project Scope of Work: The project includes making improvements to the P138-01-01 tributary by constructing a new in-line stormwater detention basin for the Greens Bayou watershed and excavating. The configuration will allow contributing flow to be detained by the basin and outflow structures. Flows along Greens Bayou and the P138-01-00 tributary will have an offline connection to the basin, where once water levels reach a certain elevation, stormwater flows can be skimmed off via side weirs into the new stormwater detention basin.

- Project to serve 4,330 persons, of which 2,410 or 55.66% are low to moderate-income with drainage improvements.
